General Information
taxhacks.ie specialises in helping PAYE workers in Ireland claim tax rebates quickly and efficiently. We review up to 4 years of taxes to maximise your rebate, ensuring you get every cent that you are owed.

If you’re owed a tax refund, our fee is 8% plus VAT, with a €15 registration fee. Unlike our competitors, we do not charge a minimum mandatory fee. We are Ireland’s lowest fee tax rebate service.
Registration FAQs
Registering allows us to act as your Tax Agent, access your Revenue profile, and secure your highest possible rebate.
You can register online in just 60 seconds by filling out our authorisation form. If preferred, we can send you a manual form, though this may delay your rebate.
No. Existing clients are automatically reviewed annually. Update us on any changes in your circumstances to ensure your rebate is maximised.

Once registered, we aim to finalise your tax review within ten working days.
If you are jointly assessed with your spouse, you both should register. We must have the assessable spouse onboarded as a client in order to secure a rebate for them.
Your Tax Review
No additional documents are required. Just complete our online form, and we’ll handle the rest.
We will notify you by email once your review is complete. If you’re owed a rebate, we’ll inform you as soon as the funds are received from Revenue.
Yes. Contact our Customer Service Team to update your records or share relevant details. We will have a portal this can be uploaded to.
You may receive your rebate into a nominated account held in your name. Alternatively, you can also be issued a cheque, mailed to your stated address.

Your Rebate FAQs
Anyone in the PAYE system may be eligible. We estimate that 75% of PAYE workers are due a rebate.
Overpaid income tax, USC, and eligible expenses including medical costs, tuition fees, and flat-rate allowances.
Rebates can be claimed for the previous 4 years. Even where Revenue has stated that no rebate is due, we may find additional rebates for you.
You can still claim rebates for any eligible taxes paid within the past 4 years, regardless of your current employment status or location.
Common Tax Credit Questions

Yes. Eligible expenses include GP visits, medication, dental treatments, and private therapy. You can claim up to 20% back.
Tuition and private hospital fees for maternity care are eligible for tax relief.
Yes. You may be entitled to additional tax relief if you’ve worked remotely in the past 4 years.
Costs such as bin charges, union fees, vet bills, and pandemic-related work expenses cannot be claimed.
